RYA Theory courses in Kent are held aboard our historic Dutch Sailing Klipper ‘Maaike Maria’ at our marina base at Chatham on the Medway in Kent.
We provide VHF (SRC), First Aid at Sea, Essential Navigation & Seamanship, Day Skipper and Coastal/Yachtmaster training to the highest standard. We ensure that our courses are run according to current RYA guidelines. All theory courses are delivered by Elite Sailing in a classroom in Chatham.
RYA Classroom courses are a vital complement to the practical courses and we pay the same careful attention to this as to our instruction at sea. Our shore based course instructors are qualified and experienced RYA Yachtmasters and will make subjects relevant, interesting and fun to study.
