Aim: To train experienced PWC handlers to become PWC Instructors.

All candidates must hold a PWC license and a valid first aid certificate. Existing RYA powerboat instructors who have at least two years PWC experience may apply to do a one-day conversion.

Aim: To train experienced powerboat instructors already holding the Advanced Powerboat Certificate to teach the Avanced Powerboat course.
Duration: Two days (Night navigation exercise on the first night).
All candidates must be a current Level 2 Powerboat Instructor, also you must hold the Advanced Certificate of Competence Commercially Endorsed, a valid first aid certificate and a VHF operator's certificate.
Candidates also should be competent to the standard of Yachtmaster shorebased, it is desirable to hold this certificate. Candidates must be an RYA member for the RYA to process their instructor certificate.
