This PWC training course will be conducted on our Yamaha VX deluxe with RIDE system, you may also use their own craft.

What to bring with you on the course

The RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency is a practical Jetski training course with a short session in the classroom at the beginning of the day.

Successful students will be awarded the RYA PWC license valid in most countries throughout the world including Europe if accompanied with the international license. At the end of the course you will be issued the RYA Personal Watercraft book.

A Passport photograph of yourself.

Wetsuits will be supplied if required.

Suitable footwear for being on board a high speed craft such as deck shoes, or old trainers.

A change of clothing. In case of emergency. Shower facilities are available at the marina, if needed, so bring a towel.

If you request a specific booking we will make the reservation and our booking system will send you an email, with a link to follow, to complete the process easily online. You’ll be asked to create or update your profile, confirm acceptance of terms and conditions and then make a payment online.

When you complete the payment you’ll receive an email with confirmation and joining instructions for the course.

Aim: To Provide a practical introduction to boat handling and safety on personal watercraft.
Duration: One Day
Instructor to student ratio: Max 1:6 (using three PWC's)
Times: The start time is 09:30 with an anticipated finish at around 17:00

Our Jetski training course is designed for first time and experienced riders alike. Increasingly our certificate is required for launching in UK harbours, but is also needed if you want to use your PW in Europe when accompanied with the international license
