Course Information

Powerboat Training - Introduction to Powerboating

The course will be conducted in our 7.5m Humber RIB with a Yamaha 200 4 stroke

What to bring with you on the course

Aim: To Provide a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboating.
Duration: One day
Instructor to student ratio: 1:3
Times: The start time is 09:30 with an anticipated finish at around 17:00

RYA Level 1 Start Powerboating is a practical course with a small amount of classroom work.

Warm clothing. Suitable footwear for being on board a high speed craft such as deck shoes, sailing boots (not gardening wellies please or old trainers).

If you wish to use your own foul weather gear, please bring it.

A change of clothing, in case of emergency.
